Our engine uses pure deterministic algorithms — no AI, no LLMs, no randomness. Every hint, recommendation, and score is computed from precise information theory and constraint satisfaction.

The Philosophy Behind Half-Step Hints
We use a "half-step" approach: our hints go just far enough to guide your thinking, but stop short of solving the puzzle for you. This preserves the "aha!" moment while reducing frustration.
Think of it like a tutor who doesn't give you the answer but points out where to look next. You still do the cognitive work of piecing together the solution — which is where the real learning happens.
In Helper mode, we never reveal the answer at all. You can use it alongside your daily Wordle puzzle without ever spoiling the satisfaction of solving it yourself.
